Accreditation for IGSHPA Accredited Installers and Vertical Loop Installers (Drillers) is valid for three (3) years. Membership in IGSHPA is required to maintain accreditation.

During those three years an installer must accumulate eight (8) continuing education units (points) to renew the accreditation. The points can be accumulated in three ways – through employment, and/or membership, and/or education.

Points can be accumulated in the geothermal, drilling, or HVAC fields. OSHA training is also acceptable for education points. If you are unable to accumulate the required eight (8) points or if you have questions contact IGSHPA.
